Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

It's been a while since I've joined Monica's blog hop. But I really liked this image from a recent photo session.

SOOC:
Photobucket

This cute little guy was playing with the airplanes I had brought with me while sitting on my favorite blue bench.

Edit:
Photobucket

I ran it through LR3 along with all the other photos from the session. I did the basic color, exposure and contrast edits. Then I brought it over to PSE7. The airplane was distracting in the image so I got rid of it using the cloning tool. I then ran Florabella Luxe II Timeless action. Then MCP's Eye Doctor action. That's it! I great image of this adorable little man!

I'm so happy to share this image. It's one of my favorites. I've known this sweet little guy since before he was born ;) And just look at that amazing SMILE!!!

SOOC:

Edit:

I started in LR3 and then in PSE 7. I cloned out the hand (from his Mama). Then ran Florabella Luxe II action: Timeless. A little bit of sharpening and voila!

Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

I've been saving this photo for today's blog hop for 2 weeks now! It was one of those images that didn't look to great SOOC but I knew instantly had lots of potential! Take a look at this sweet little man!

SOOC:

Edit:

I ran it through my editing process for client photos. LR3 then PSE7 and Florabella action Luxe II Timeless and MCP's Eye Doctor.

It's definitely a 'keeper' now! (And looks even better in the large version of the image!)

Pixel Perfect Before & After

We finally had a really nice day here in SW Oklahoma. The kids and I were outside and I was itching for some nice new pictures!

I have quite a few cute ones, but this one of my daughter really spoke to me. I just knew it had to be turned into a B&W.

I cloned out a few minor belmishes in her hair then ran MCP's Eye Doctor and Florabella's B&W Vanilla.

Hope you all enjoy and thanks for stopping by and check out more B&A's @ Monica's Blog!!!

Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

This week's picture is of my daughter. For years (3 to be exact ;) I've been trying to get her to allow clips or bows in her hair. This was the first clip she ever let stay! So, of course I HAD to take a picture!

SOOC:

Terrible white balance, yuck!

After:

I cropped and changed the white balance, but I still wanted to accentuate the flower clip. So I turned it into B&W. Definitely a keeper for me!

Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

I think I'm finally back in the posting groove =) So this week I used an image of my kids and their new Jeep! We got it from the Ranch where my daughter is riding horses.

Before:

After:

I did the basic edits in ACR then moved the pic over to PSE 7 and ran the Florabella Luxe II action Vivid Color and painted it on just the Jeep and kid's clothes. Then I wanted to do something different. I'm not usually a texture person, but I thought I'd give it a try! I added a Florabella texture and set the blending mode to Overlay then erased it at 65% from the kids. Then a quick vignette. Ta da!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

Thursday, Thursday. We're staying at home today with the kiddos who have a nasty cold. SO I had a few minutes to play with this image of my daughter!

SOOC:

Edit 1:

Basic edits in ACR then I ran MCP
s Eye Doctor and Florabella's Timeless.

Edit 2:

MCP's Mini Fusion. This was the first time I had used this "mini" action. I liked it, but definitely need to play with it some more and understand it better =)

Have a great day!I won't be participating next week, as I'll be on vacation (by myself) to a friend's wedding in Florida! Woo Hoo!

Woo...it's been really busy around here. Well, it feels like it's never not busy! 3 photo sessions this past week and a few days of AMAZING weather has kept the kids and happy and busy! I had to search a little bit to find a photo for this week's blog hop.

SOOC:

My son after he and his sister got into a splashing contest ;)

Edit:

Basic edits in LR3 and then Florabella Luxe II actions: Smitten and Vivid Color.

Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

It's been a cold but busy week here in SW Oklahoma! We survived the "snowstorm" with only 1 inch of new snow. I've been staying busy with the kids and 2 newborn sessions! How fun!!!

Here is a SOOC from my session of an adorable little girl on Monday.

B&W edit through LR3 and PSE7. Obviously an increase in exposure, brightness adn contrast. I also had to use the healing brush to get rid of the paci marks left on her face ;) Then a B&W Florabella action in Vanilla.

Hope you are all having a wonderful, warm Thursday!!!

52 Week Project- Week 5

This week's theme for MCP's 52 week project is: Muse. After looking it up, the most basic definition is "inspiration."

So here is my muse - or - inspiration:

My family. The little man was sleeping but here is a sweet moment between the other members of my family. =)

I'm also including this as my Before/After picture for the blog hop at Pixel Perfect.

SOOC:

Edit:

I don't exactly remember my editing process for this image. (I'm going a little crazy staying inside during this snow storm) Of course it went through LR3 and PSE7, with a Florabella Luxe action I believe. Oh, that reminds me. Florabella just released their Luxe II action set yesterday! The Before/Afters are beautiful!!!! Its currently only available for the full version of Photoshop (CS5, etc) but the Elements version is already in the works. I can't wait to get my hands on those actions! Fun, fun fun!

Hope you're doing well where ever you are! At least we still have power here in OK!!!

Pixel Perfect Blog Hop

The kids and I actually got some time outside yesterday! I don't usualy take my camera out with us but yesterday I was really feeling the need for some good new pictures =)

SOOC:

My son riding on our 'roller coaster.'

Edit:

In the color edit first I adjusted the temperature, brightness, clarity and vibrance (in ACR). Then over in PSE7 I made a duplicate layer and with the spot healing brush got rid of some of the leaves, etc in the background. I also ran MCP's Eye Doctor action and then evened our his skin with Coffeeshops Glamour Glow. I really like the color edit, nice and clean. But I am a sucker for a B&W conversion. So here it is with Florabella's Vanilla action. LOVE!
