Scavenger Hunt Sunday
I always love Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday, but don't always get around to taking pics of each prompt. I'm happy to say that I made it a special point to photograph eveything this week! Motion:
I love the motion of my daughter's hair. In Fashion:
For the first time, ever, my daughter put clips in her hair!
I was waiting for a smile...but I like this just fine =) Animals Perspective:
I wanted to get a photo "over the dogs shoulder" but everytime I got close them they woke up and started licking me....so I had to settle for a photo of them on their level. Many:
Oh yes, we have many!!!

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday
I'm out of town this weekend, so hopefully this gets linked up to Ashley's Blog okay!!
Without further ado, here are my interpretations for this week!
Capture the Sky:
I wanted to take a new picture but the weather this week has been gloomy. So here's my favorite picture taken from my front door. That is my husband flying the plane on the left. Beautiful huh?
Life:
The never ending container of sippy cup parts. (My kids are 3 and almost 18 months)
Everyday:
My car. I've driven it everyday for almost 8 years. The 87,000 miles are all mine =)
Blurred:
I took this picture to use as an example of Focal Points for my upcoming Photography 101 Workshop.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you're having a great weekend!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Well, it's been a while since I've been able to participate in Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Thankfully, she took pity on us and gave some relatively easy prompts this week! =) So here we go...
Water:

There has been a bit of snow here this week. Our neighbors were able to build a snowman! Then it turned into a puddle of water.
Quote:

This is the quote on our bedroom wall. Nice little reminder everyday =)
Window:

This is the window on our front door the morning of the first big snow! Cool frost and ice patterns! Love this one!
Activity:

My daughter's favorite activity this week was creating her name with dot markers! We then hung the entire, long set of papers on her bedroom wall =)
Page 25 of a Magazine:

Tough right? Well I LOVE magazines, so I looked at page 25 of each of my magazines and found an advertisement that I used for inspiration. It was a skin cream ad and it only showed 1/2 of the lady's face so here is my daughter's 1/2 face ;) I actually really like how it turned out! Tack sharp on her face. Isn't she cute? =)
Thanks for stopping by! Please feel free to let me know what you think of my images!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday
It's my 2nd Sunday participating in the photo Scavenger Hunt at Ashley's blog: Ramblings and Photos. I'm actually really happy with how my photos turned out this week! I can already see improvement in my "artistic vision," LOL! I hope you all enjoy them as well!
Here are my interpretations of the 5 words this week:
Dream:

This was always my dream. To get married and have a family. What can be better than an amazing husband, a little girl and a little boy. (This isn't a new picture though...I couldn't find any more recent pics of all 3 of them together! Yikes!)
Clean:

My little guy in the tub. Doesn't get much cleaner than that! Love the spikey hair too =)
Currency:

I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I saw the theme, currency. My husband has traveled all over the world while being in the Air Force. He often comes home with currency from some interesting places! These are a few coins that I could find today. Can anyone name some of the countries I have included?? (Hint, I don't think I duplicated any countries.)
Pair:

A pair of beautiful military air craft at dawn. I took this photo outside my front door on Friday morning. That is actually my husband flying the skinny plane (KC-135) at the top of the photo. They were preforming a refueling demo (with a C-17) for the POW/MIA ceremony on base. It doesn't get much more fantastic than that!
Square:

I thought my kids blocks worked perfect! Happy Sunday everyone!
Stop by Ramblings and Photos to play along with us next week!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Okay....this one was tough for me. But I do like a challenge so when I saw that each week, Ashley over at Ramblings and Photos hosts a Photo Scavenger Hunt I had to try it.
Why is it so tough? Well, for one, I like/am best at portrait photography. Landscape and still life? Not so much. Secondly, these items make you think of how to best photograph them. Not always easy. But I'm up for a challenge!
So for this week, my first try the items were:
Landscape:

The view from the end of my street. Yep, that's what SW Oklahoma looks like!
Powerline:

Also along a street in my neighborhood. So some reason I'd think that power poles in a state with lots of tornados, stong wind and hail would have stronger poles!!!
Newspaper:

I was actually going for the September 11th paper, but I had already thrown it away. Oops! Not quite the look I was going for in my mind...... there's always next time!
Pose:

My daughter, the tree-hugger!
Hobby:

Yep, that's me! LOVE my photography hobby!
Not all successful I'd say, but a good first try!
Head over to Ramblings and Photos to try out the Scavenger Hunt youself. The list of items for next week is already posted!
