Welcome to this week's blog hop! This past weekend, my kids, husband and I were at a Family Rrtreat sponsored by our Air Force base. We had a fantastic time and I even got the chance to go off by myself for a little while and take pictures. Nature/landscape photography isn't really my thing, but here is a shot of the lake where we were staying.

Edit:
I knew that I needed to liven up the colors a bit but I also wanted to try something I don't usually do. So, after the usual changes in ACR (exposure, contrast and vibrance) I opened the image in PSE 7 and tried the Action: CoffeeShop Cross-Processing. I played around with a few of the layers (contrast boost, blue and green to really play up the water and the grass.) I think it's a bit over saturated with the colors, but it definitely shows off the land and water!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful edit! Love how you brought out the colors.
ReplyDeleteI like over saturated landscape photos! I think you did a great job with your edit.
ReplyDeleteI love it, the bright blues and greens make it seem very post-card worthy!
ReplyDeleteI don't think the colors are overdone. I would have done the same thing.
