In ACR I increased the exposure, contrast, temperature, vibrance and saturation.

Then over in PSE 7 I lassoed his eyes and increased the brightness and saturation.

I just love how his eyes pop!!!

New Business Opportunity!

I'm so excited about the new business opportunity I've been offered recently!

My husband's squadron has a HUGE annual auction (The Tanker Tailgate Auction) and I've been asked to donate a portrait session as an auction item!

So far I've only done sessions for family and by word of mouth, so this will be a LOT of free advertising/publicity!

I am really happy, but totally nervous! I wasn't really expecting anything like this to happen, so I need to make up some business cards to have on hand at the auction. And quickly, since the auction is in less than 3 weeks!!! This website will be on the card, so I'll be making some update to the site for potential clients =)

Super exciting stuff for me!!!

Thanks to my friend Megan, who suggested Vista Print, I've come up with my business card. Here is the final product!

In other news, I have some amazing (if I do say so myself) pictures to post from my most recent session with my brother, sister-in-law and niece. And I have a way cool "behind-the-scenes" post in the works from my son's 1 year session!

On The Water

Another new photo challenge. I have the perfect picture from our vacation last week for the theme: On the Water, over at In A Yellow House.



Here is the world's tallest fountain. It is in our hometown in Arizona. It goes off each hour, on the hour, for 15-30 minutes (depending on the season.)

Here are a few favorites from a session I did just before leaving on vacation.

These 3 ladies are best friends and Air Force wives. As it inevitably happens, they move away from each other. Sarah (in orange) is leaving for the Washington DC area next week. This session was a nice way to commemorate their friendship and the fun they have together!

I'm Back!

We got back early Friday morning. As in 1:30am!

I have LOTS of pictures to post including 3 sessions, some new business opportunities that may change some information/stuff on the blog and a few new challenges/contests I'll be entering! FUN!

Here is a quick look at our vacation:

My husband is in the Air Force, so we didn't take a regular commercial flight. Yes, that is an F-16 out the window of our military plane!

Lots of family time!!

My son's 1st birthday!!!

It was a great vacation, we're now back home in Oklahoma....getting into our routine again and getting some great new stuff up here on the blog!!!

It's A Party

My son had the first of his two 1st Birthday Parties last night.

And of course it isn't a party without tissue paper!

And Balloons!

We will be out of town for the next 2 weeks. I've got 4 photo sessions to do as well, so I'm definitely going to have a LOT to post when we return!

Big C is 1 Year Old

My son's best friend, Big C, turned 1 year-old last week. (They both have the same name, so he is Big C and my son is Little C!)

We enjoyed some cooler morning weather and got a lot of adorable pictures outside!





I LOVED his Superman outfit! Megan did a great job picking out his clothes!


Once it got too hot we headed back inside.
